Product Details

Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

Artist's Description

This apartment building in Havre de Grace was originally built around 1918, was known as the Bayou Hotel and was host to an upscale crowd. Through the 1920s, it lived up to its high expectations. Unfortunately the Great Depression forced the lavish hotel to shut its doors. Soon after closing, the Bayou was bought by the Francis Sisters and converted into a senior home for women under the new name St. Francis Villa.

Jeannie Allerton

Jeannie Allerton grew up in the suburbs of Phila, later spent 25 years in Monmouth County, NJ and now resides happily retired with her family in Havre de Grace, MD, a beautiful little city on the Chesapeake Bay. Her father was an artist and Jeannie always wanted to learn from him. Since 2012, she has had the privilege to study painting on a weekly basis under nationally acclaimed and locally loved artist, Lee Alban. At Monmouth University she minored in art but majored in business-accounting to assure a good salary. Now that she is has more time, she enjoys painting the scenes she captures with her camera.
